Search Steals - Deal Search

One of my favorite electronics deal sites has an absolutely terrible search function while another one has no search function at all. I wanted to make it easier to find deals on these sites.

I scraped deals with scrapy and through an API, put them into a Postgres DB, and displayed them using Typescript, Next, React, MUI. This is currently deployed on Cloudflare Pages with edge runtime.

I wanted to test gray uniformity of my phone. I tried finding a screen test site that used a color picker instead of using a small selection of colors or random primary colors, but I couldn't find one. People were suggesting using youtube videos, but I thought that wasn't a great solution.

So I made this with vanilla Javascript, HTML, markdown, and Parcel. If I were to do it again, I would use Astro, which my personal site is built with.

Affirmations - App MVP

In the past, I had fun generating noise with the Web Audio API. I wanted to do something with noise generation as a base and I wanted to work with Flutter, so I made this app.

I had more ambitious plans for this revolving around the sessions or affirmations in this iteration, but after releasing this, I think the next step is to focus on the relaxation aspect and release that as a standalone item.

Session JSON Modifier

I normally keep a lot of tabs. At some point, one of my sessions got corrupted and I lost a lot of tab data. I decided to make my own tool to graphically edit my session and recover my tabs.

Firefox makes session backups whenever it updates, so I focused on making the tool able to grab from one session of tabs and put them in another session's group of tabs. I also chose this because it seemed like the corruption was worst in the earliest tabs. This is written in Python, but I plan on making it in Flutter in the future.

Noise Map

I've always been interested in strategy games and I started coding to try making a new type of game. Along the way I encountered noise and making art programmatically.

This project was focused specifically on creating a map with rivers for use in a game I was making. I eventually realized that the amount of time it would take to release that game was incredibly long and decided to focus on smaller projects. This is written in C++.
